Buyer-facing summary
Client problem
A countdown feature needed to be reusable inside the Wix ecosystem rather than rebuilt as one-off page content.
What I delivered
I built a Wix Blocks countdown app/component with reusable product-style structure.
Business result
The work shows component and marketplace-style thinking for Wix projects that need reusable behavior.
Problem
Countdown Pro was built as a reusable Wix Blocks app/component rather than a one-off page section.
The project sits lower in priority than WordPress plugin and backend work, but it shows product thinking inside another platform.
What I built
Reusable countdown component
Built a countdown feature as a reusable component in the Wix Blocks ecosystem.
Marketplace-style structure
Approached the component as a small product-style unit rather than just a page-level visual element.
Technical decisions
The useful lesson is packaging. Even inside visual site builders, repeatable behavior benefits from being treated like a component.
Wix work should stay scoped to projects where the ecosystem is the right fit.
Outcome
What I would improve
If this became a larger product, I would add fuller public documentation and stronger usage examples.
For the current portfolio, a concise secondary case study is the right weight.
Tech stack
Next step
If you need similar work, let’s talk through the constraints first.
The useful part of a project like this usually starts before code: understanding what the CMS should own, what should live in a backend service, and where integrations or automation can stay maintainable.
